The Principle of Pressure Test Pump

Apr 22, 2022

The pressure test pump is a testing equipment specially designed for various types of pressure vessels, pipes, valves, boilers, steel cylinders, fire fighting equipment, etc. for hydraulic testing and for obtaining high-pressure liquids in laboratories.

Its function is to convert the mechanical energy of power machines (such as electric motors and internal combustion engines) into pressure energy of liquids. Working principle: The cam is driven by the motor to rotate. When the cam pushes the plunger to move upward, the sealing volume formed by the plunger and the cylinder is reduced, and the oil is squeezed out from the sealing volume and discharged to the required place through the one-way valve. When the cam rotates to the descending part of the curve, the spring forces the plunger down, forming a certain degree of vacuum, and the oil in the tank enters the sealing volume under the action of atmospheric pressure. The cam makes the plunger rise and fall continuously, the sealing volume decreases and increases periodically, and the pump continuously absorbs and discharges oil.

The pressure test pump is an ideal equipment for obtaining high-pressure liquids in laboratories and hydraulic tests of various pressure vessels, pipes, boilers, steel cylinders, valves, pressure vessels, and fire-fighting equipment. The pressure test pump products and supporting pressure test and test projects have been applied in the pressure test test in the aviation field, and in the key development projects of national defense scientific research. It has made significant contributions to major scientific research projects in my country, such as high pressure blasting test, deep sea test, space technology, high temperature and high pressure test, special-shaped pipe test, etc.
