CPVC belongs to a new type of engineering plastic which has been gained through chlorination modification of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin. CPVC Socket Fittings are odorless white or light yellow, non-toxic loose granules or powder. As the increase of the solubility of the resin and the chemical stability after the PVC resin is chlorinated, the heat resistance, acid, alkali, salt etc. of this materials has been greatly improved, especially for mechanical properties of the heat distortion. And the chlorine content is increased from 56.7% to 63-69%, the Vicat softening temperature is increased from 72-82 ℃ to 90-125 ℃, the maximum service temperature can reach 110 ℃, with a longer service life.

CPVC Elbow Fittings has a strong anti-corrosion resistance which is widely used in steel, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical, fertilizer, dye, pharmaceutical, electric power,etc. Due to the increase of chlorine content in the material, the irregularity of CPVC molecules in the structure increases (the crystallinity decreases, and the polarity of the molecular chain increases), thus increasing its heat distortion temperature.

The max operating temperature of CPVC products is able to reach 93-100 ℃, and the the chemical resistance and corrosion resistance is greatly promoted. Besides, the tensile strength and flexible strength of CPVC is better than PVC with a better performance in aging resistance, corrosion resistance and high flame retardancy. The chlorine content (63-74%) and density are higher than PVC.
