Raw Material Description

CPVC is obtained by chlorination modification of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin, and is a new type of engineering plastic. The product is white or light yellow odorless, odorless, non-toxic loose granules or powder. After the PVC resin is chlorinated, the chlorine content is increased from 56.7% to 63-69%, and the chemical stability is increased, thereby improving the heat resistance, acid, alkali, salt, oxidant and other corrosion of the material. Its heat distortion temperature and mechanical properties are much higher than those of PVC. Therefore, CPVC is one of the best engineering materials for industrial piping. As a new type of pipeline, CPVC pipe has excellent corrosion resistance. The maximum operating temperature can reach 93-100 ℃, which is 30-40 ℃ higher than that of PVC. At the same time, it improves the chemical resistance and corrosion resistance of PVC. Chemical corrosion of strong bases, salts, fatty acid salts, oxidants and halogens. In recent years, it has been widely used in steel, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical, fertilizer, dye, pharmaceutical, electric power, environmental protection and sewage treatment industries.
