How to Choose PP Water Pipe

Aug 30, 2022

1. Look at the shape

When buying a water pipe, check to see if the shape of the water pipe is deformed or twisted, the surface of the regular water pipe is in a flat state, and the color is more uniform. The outer wall of the tube has clear trademarks, specifications and production dates. Check to see if you have a health permit. If not, this type of water pipe is not suitable for use in the home.

2. Smell

Water pipes are generally made of plastic and are manufactured through a mechanical extrusion process. Some unscrupulous manufacturers have made huge profits by using toxic plastics to make water pipes. The toxic substances in the water pipes will enter the human body through the water, which will affect the safety of water. When we buy, we can smell the smell and try it out. If the water pipe is unqualified and inferior, it will emit a pungent smell.

3. Bend the water pipe

Try bending the water pipe by hand. If the water pipe can be easily bent without breaking, it can be bent into a circle, which proves that the water pipe is of high quality. If the plastic water pipe breaks and becomes brittle when bent, it proves that the quality of the water pipe is relatively low. It is recommended to put a small piece of plastic water pipe into high temperature water to check the degree of hardening. If the water pipe becomes soft at a temperature of 60 degrees, it proves that the quality of the water pipe is poor.
