World Book Day

Apr 23, 2022

April 23, the full name of World Book Day, is "World Book and Copyright Day", also known as "World Book Day". The original idea came from the International Publishers Association. The programme was forwarded from Spain to UNESCO.

November 15, 1995 officially designated April 23 each year as "World Book Day". The purpose of its establishment is to promote more people to read and write, and hope that everyone can respect and appreciate the masters of literature, culture, science and thought who have made great contributions to human civilization, and protect intellectual property rights. Every year on this day, more than 100 countries around the world hold a variety of celebrations and book promotions.
