Why Is The Distance Between The Hot And Cold Water Pipes 15 Cm

Feb 09, 2023

1. Easy to install the faucet:

The size of the faucet is generally determined by the size of the water pipe. Now there are two common types, namely 4-point tube and 6-point tube. However, there are almost four pipes for home improvement and general use, and the corresponding faucets are 15mm and 20mm respectively. There needs to be enough installation space between the two faucets, so the distance between the cold and hot water pipes cannot be too close.

2. Convenient for later use:

Because the heat energy of the hot and cold water pipes is different, the thermal conductivity is also different. Generally, the thermal conductivity of hot water pipes is relatively high. If the hot and cold water pipes are too close together, the cold water may turn into hot water.

3. It is convenient to use the mixing faucet:

The cold and hot water pipes in the bathroom are mainly mixed water, and this kind of faucet can also be used to adjust the water temperature. In order not to affect the use effect, of course, the cold and hot water pipes must be separated by more than 15 cm, and the error can only be controlled within 5 mm.

4. Affect the service life of water pipes

The tube wall of the heat pipe is relatively thick, so it will perform better in terms of heat preservation effect. However, due to the different pipelines of hot and cold water pipes, there will be certain differences in the insulation effect. If the cold and hot water pipes are too close, it will directly affect the service time of the water pipes. After all, it is not easy to break the water pipes. It will not only affect the normal use in the future, but also the maintenance and repair will be difficult , especially when the water pipe is off the ground.
