PPR Double Union Ball Valve

Description

PPR (polypropylene random), also known as random copolymer polypropylene (PPR), its products such as PPR Double Union Ball Valve have good toughness, high strength, excellent processing performance, good creep resistance at higher temperatures, and random copolymerization. Polypropylene has the unique advantages of high transparency and can be widely used in the production of pipes, sheets, daily necessities, packaging materials, household appliance parts and various films.

Production Process

The production process of PPR Double Union Ball Valve is extrusion molding process. First, the PP-R material in the feeding hopper enters the extruder by its own weight, and is heated, extruded and mixed in the extruder barrel, fully plasticized and discharged from the extruder. The die is extruded and enters the setting table. The shaped pipe is measured by the tractor and cut by the cutting machine. The pipe is put into storage after passing the inspection. The corresponding pipe fittings are produced by injection moulding.

Pipe production process: PP-R raw material → vacuum suction feeding → hopper storage → feeding → extrusion molding → cooling and shaping → traction → cutting → inspection → storage

Pipe fitting production process: PP-R raw material → conveying and feeding → hopper storage → feeding → heating and melting → extrusion injection molding → cooling and shaping → mold opening → inspection → storage.

Performance Characteristics

1. The production energy consumption of energy-saving PPR pipe is only 20% of that of steel pipe, and its thermal conductivity is low [0.2W/(m.K)], which is only 1/200 of that of steel pipe, and its application in hot water system will greatly reduce heat loss.

2. Corrosion-resistant, non-scaling, hygienic, and non-toxic The use of PP-R pipes can eliminate the "secondary pollution" of water quality caused by scaling and rusting of the inner wall caused by the use of galvanized steel pipes. Because PP-R is simple in composition, and its basic components are carbon and hydrogen, it conforms to food hygiene regulations, is non-toxic, and is more suitable for drinking water transportation.

3. Heat resistance, pressure resistance and long service life The long-term use temperature of PP-R pipe can reach 95 ℃, and the short-term use temperature can reach 120 ℃. Under the condition that the operating temperature is 70℃ and the working pressure is 1.2MPa, it can be used continuously for a long time, and the service life can reach more than long-term durability according to standards.

4. Light weight, high strength and small fluid resistance The density of PP-R pipe is only 1/8 of that of metal pipe, the pressure resistance test strength is as high as 5MPa, and it has good toughness and impact resistance. Due to the smooth inner wall, no rust and no scaling, the fluid resistance is small. The main technical indicators of PP-R pipe are as follows: density 0.9g/cm3 elastic modulus (20℃) 800MPa thermal expansion coefficient 1.8×10-4/K thermal conductivity 0.2W/(m.K) longitudinal shrinkage rate 2% impact test damage rate≤ 10% hydraulic test short-term 1h, ring stress 16MPa no leakage long-term 95 ℃, 1000h, ring stress 3.5MPa no leakage Table 1 shows the performance comparison of several materials.
