PPR pipe fittings are made of high-quality raw materials by injection molding, and all properties of the products meet the indexes specified in the standard GB / T18742. It also has unique design and process advantages: the use of large arc bending position design can effectively reduce the formation of water hammer and eliminate pipe vibration. After the PPR pipe is cracked by the force of a point, the crack will grow rapidly along the axis of the pipe in an instant. When the ambient temperature is low, the toughness of PPR pipe decreases and shows brittleness. When the pipe is impacted by external force, it extends to the outer pipe. In addition, in winter, the pipe will be damaged due to external force during transportation, construction site and installation, and the pipe will burst due to brittleness and toughness (when transporting hot water). So pay special attention when storing.
1. Pipes and pipe fittings shall be stored in a well ventilated warehouse or simple shed, and shall not be stored in the open air to prevent direct sunlight. They shall not be stored in a place exposed to sunlight for a long time. They shall be stored in a warehouse, pay attention to fire safety, and the distance from the heat source shall not be less than 1m;
2. Pipes shall be stacked horizontally on the flat ground, bending pipes shall be avoided, and the stacking height shall not be higher than 2.0m. Pipe fittings shall be stacked layer by layer, and shall be placed neatly and horizontally according to categories. They shall not be stacked too high. They shall not be stacked disorderly to avoid collapse and inconvenient handling;
3. When handling PPR pipes and fittings, they should be handled with care and kept away from oil stains. It is difficult to clean the pipes and fittings with oil stains. It is strictly prohibited to hit violently, touch with sharp objects, throw, fall, roll and drag, such as nails, wall corners and stones;
4. It is not allowed to knock pipes and pipe fittings with hard objects, especially at low temperature, it is not allowed to throw, drag the ground, carry and climb;
5. The pipe must be cut perpendicular to the axial direction of the pipe, and the cut must be kept clean and flat;
6. The fusion connection shall be in strict accordance with the operation specifications. During hot fusion connection, the pipe and pipe fittings shall be kept in a straight line;
7. When the pipe is bent, the bending radius shall not be less than eight times of the pipe diameter, and it is strictly prohibited to heat and bend with open fire;
8. Conical thread shall be adopted for metal thread design. Hemp or raw material belt can be used for sealing during connection, and it shall not be tightened too tightly;
9. When two pipes cross and overlap, coiled pipes must be used. When burying pipes, the position and direction of concealed pipes shall be marked on the wall or ground. It is strictly prohibited to impact or nail sharp objects such as metal nails on the pipes.
