The manufacturing process for producing UPVC (unplasticized polyvinyl chloride) fittings typically involves the following steps:
Raw material preparation:
The first step involves sourcing the raw materials required for the production of UPVC fittings. The main material is UPVC resin, a durable and hard PVC that contains no plasticizers. In addition, additives, stabilizers and pigments can be introduced to enhance material properties and add color.
IFAN pipe fittings are produced from 100% virgin UPVC resin. Priority is given to using high-quality raw materials provided by large domestic and foreign petrochemical companies such as Sinopec; the UPVC formula has passed NSF certification; it has its own professional IFAN experimental center to provide professional technical support.
Material mix:
UPVC resin is mixed with the required additives and stabilizers in precise proportions. The process is usually carried out in a high-speed mixer to ensure the additives are evenly distributed throughout the material.
Injection molding:
After the materials are mixed, the UPVC compound is fed into the injection molding machine. The machine heats the material and forces it through a specially designed mold to shape the fitting. These molds give the UPVC components the required shape, such as pipes, elbows, tees and connectors.
Cooling and styling:
When UPVC comes out of the injection molding machine, it goes through a cooling molding process. A variety of sizing tools and fixtures are used to ensure that fittings are sized to required standards.
QC:
Strict quality control measures are implemented throughout the manufacturing process to check for defects, dimensional accuracy and material consistency. This ensures that the final UPVC fitting meets the necessary standards and specifications.
Package:
After quality control inspection, the UPVC fittings are properly packed for storage and distribution.
