Ruptures and Handling Repairs in PEX Floor Heating Pipes

Despite their durability, PEX pipes can still rupture. Although PEX pipes are not prone to fracture easily, physical contact can cause rupture. Valves and joints can also fail, resulting in leakage. In case of a rupture:

1. Turn off the water supply.

2. Observe the connections visually. If you notice any leaking, you can tighten the connections or couplings with a wrench.

3. Use PEX repair kits to repair any significant ruptures. If necessary, cutoff the ruptured section and replace it with a new one.
