This can save a lot of money compared to different piping systems, some of which even require glued fittings, restraints or thrust blocks to change direction. Due to its high impact resistance and flexibility, HDPE pipes are ideal for installation in dynamic soils.

5. Since the food-grade polyethylene virgin material is used to manufacture HDPE pipes, they are safe to transport potable water as long as any initial debris is flushed away. HDPE pipe is resistant to many chemicals, making it easy to use in processing plants or in corrosive or acidic environments without the need for protective coating or galvanizing like steel pipe. Because HDPE has an extremely low thermal conductivity, it can maintain a more uniform temperature as it moves fluids than metal pipes, which will greatly reduce the need for insulation to control condensation around pipes.
