What Is The Reason For The Leakage Of The Water Heater Outlet Valve

Nov 12, 2022

1. The water inlet valve core is worn

It may be water leakage caused by wear of the inlet valve core, which is a common problem with water heaters. The wear of the valve core is likely to be caused by hard impurities in the water source, and the valve core is easily damaged after a long time of use. If this is the reason, it is easy to deal with, just replace the new inlet valve of the same model to solve the problem.

2. The connection between the valve and the water pipe is not firm

A leaking water heater valve could be a problem with the seal between the valve and the water pipe, or a loose connection. The hose on the valve needs to be disassembled and the worn seal replaced. When the hose is installed, wrap a few turns of raw tape around the thread of the connector to tighten the connector.
