1. Appearance
When choosing a PE pipe, we must first look at its shape. Usually, a good water pipe has a smooth texture, and also has the national standard. The color is black, but it is also naturally white. If the pipe is too white, it is not recommended. In addition, you can also check whether there is scale falling off on the PE pipe, and the thin sheets of a good pipe are very bright in color and are not easy to break.
2. Pursue wall thickness
When choosing a PE pipe, it depends on its wall thickness. Generally, the diameter should be controlled between 16mm and 1800mm. And in addition to the pipe diameter, we also need to pay attention to its pipe thickness. Pipes with different diameters have different wall thicknesses, usually the thicker the wall, the higher the pressure. At present, the nominal pressure of PE pipes on the market has five specifications, so the selection should be made according to the construction conditions.
3. Material properties
When choosing a PE pipe, it also depends on its material, because some pipes on the market are made of recycled materials, but there is still a certain gap with the new materials. If the construction requirements are not high, they can be made of recycled materials. These pipes are mainly uneven in color, have air bubbles, and have rough pipe walls. Avoid using such pipelines as much as possible, so it is recommended that you choose to go to the local regular shopping mall when purchasing pipelines, which is more secure.
