If the waterway installation is not careful, the following problems may occur, which will trouble everyone for a long time: blockage of water outlet, burst pipe and cracked pipe, etc. But as long as you do a few things well, you can stay away from these hazards.
1. The direction of the waterway
If the direction of water pipes is improperly planned, it will easily affect the subsequent decoration projects, and the installation of domestic water pipes is almost concealed, so it is recommended to go to the top. On the one hand, it avoids man-made damage; on the other hand, once the pipeline leaks, it can be found in time, and it is convenient for maintenance and the loss is small. Of course, it is more difficult to install on the top of the pipeline, and more materials are used, so it should be considered according to the actual situation.
2. Cross laying method
Pipeline laying is very complicated, and it is inevitable that some pipelines will need to be cross-laid. If there is no intersecting special pipe fitting to undertake, the above pipe fitting will have a higher chance of bursting under the action of gravity for a long time after the brick is pasted or leveled. At this time, it is a good choice to use the cross-bridge four-way connection.
3. Pay attention to the way the water pipe is connected
PPR pipes are generally installed by hot-melt welding, and the connection is also firmer. There is no special situation, and there will be no water leakage after a long time of use after passing through the water. However, in areas such as bathrooms and kitchens that use frequent water and are relatively prone to failure, you can consider using a live connection method, which is more convenient for later disassembly and maintenance.
4. Concealed hot and cold water pipes
Many people will encounter hot and cold water temperature in the process of using water. Apart from the problems of the electrical appliances themselves, in fact, it is very likely that the distance between the hot and cold water pipes is set too close during the laying process.
Another point to note is that hot and cold water pipes should be distinguished. PP-R cold water pipes have relatively low pressure bearing capacity at high temperatures (recommended below 40°C), and are not suitable for use as hot water pipes, otherwise there may be a danger of pipe bursting. The long-term use temperature of PP-R hot water pipes should not be higher than 70°C, otherwise it will affect the service life of PP-R hot water pipes, so when you set the temperature of hot water, you should also take this into consideration.
