What Should Be Paid Attention to in the Pipeline Closed Water Test

Oct 15, 2022

1. Before the test, be sure to check in detail whether the pipeline is installed correctly, whether there is accumulated water inside the pipeline, and whether there is leakage at each connection port. If there is dirt, mud, etc., it should be cleaned up.

2. Before the test, it is generally necessary to inject an appropriate amount of water into the well and the pipeline. During the water injection process, you should also check in detail whether the pipeline is blocked or leaked. If there is, you need to stop the test in time. Then take proper measures to deal with it.

3. When the water injection amount reaches the specified water level, its height should be measured and registered, and the measurement time should not be less than half an hour, and then the seepage amount is calculated according to the water level drop value, as long as the seepage amount does not exceed the specified value standard. If it is exceeded, it means that the closed water test of the pipeline is qualified, and there is no leakage in the pipeline. Once it exceeds, it means that the installation of the pipeline is unqualified and needs to be reinstalled.
