In order to properly store PEX clamp fittings, the following rules and procedures need to be followed:
Storage environment:
It should be stored in a warehouse or simple shed with good ventilation and low temperature to avoid the loss of the surface protective layer caused by sun exposure.
The room temperature of the indoor warehouse should not be greater than 40 ° C, away from heat sources.
The storage site should be flat without protruding sharp edges to prevent damage to pipe fittings.
Stacking requirements:
The pipe should be stacked horizontally on flat supports or ground.
The stacking height of the straight pipe should be less than or equal to 1.5 meters, the pipe fittings should be placed neatly, and the stacking height should not exceed 2 meters.
When the pipe is bundled into a square bundle of 1mx1m, the use of nylon rope (it is forbidden to use metal products to bundle), and the support protection on both sides, the stacking height can be appropriately increased, but it should not exceed 3 meters.
Products of different diameters, wall thicknesses and specifications should be stored separately to facilitate use and reduce damage.
Protective measures:
When pipes and fittings are stored, use non-metal rope to bind them, and the end of the pipes should be blocked.
In the outdoor temporary stacking, there should be covered to avoid rain and sun.
Avoid contact with oil, acid, salt and other chemicals.
Management principles:
Follow the principle of "first in, first out", reduce the inventory time of pipes and fittings, and the storage period should not exceed one year.
Fire extinguishers and fire hydrants should be installed in the storage area or warehouse to ensure safety.
