1. The hot-melt temperature of PPR water pipe is 260 degrees Celsius, and the temperature of hot-melt can be adjusted appropriately according to the construction environment temperature. For example, the temperature in winter in the north is relatively low. When you perform hot-melting of water pipes, the hot-melt temperature can be appropriately increased by about 10 degrees Celsius. PPR water pipes are mostly connected by hot melt, which has the advantages of not easy to corrode, not easy to seep water, and has a long service life.
2. When making PPR water pipes hot-melting, you should pay attention to the heating time; usually, the heating time of dn20 water pipes is 5s, and the heating time of dn25 water pipes is 7s, and so on. If the heating time of the water pipe is too short, it is easy to cause uneven heating and weak welding of the water pipe.
3. Before connecting the PPR water pipe, you need to clean the water pipe first, and there should be no oil stains, dust, water droplets, etc. on the surface of the water pipe. If there is dirt and water droplets on the surface of the water pipe when hot-melting the PPR water pipe, the water pipe is prone to voids and virtual welding problems during welding. In addition, the incision of the PPR pipe should be flat and clean; if the incision of the pipe is not flat, the welded pipe will not be straight.
