CPVC pipe fittings are widely used in hot and cold water pipeline systems in civil buildings, drinking water systems in hotels, hospitals, schools and other public buildings, fire protection pipeline systems, and various weak acid and alkaline liquid chemical pipeline systems.
CPVC pipes have excellent physical and chemical properties such as heat resistance, weather resistance, resistance to chemical media corrosion, flame retardancy, and smoke prevention. This series of products is becoming more and more popular around the world, and the market prospects are very broad.
What is a flatten test?
As described in standard ASTM F441, the flatten test requires that CPVC pipe be flattened to 40% of its original diameter, and the sample must maintain this distance without splitting or cracking. IFAN brand CPVC pipe easily passed the test.
In addition to CPVC pipes, IFAN PIPE FITTING also performs flattening testing on a variety of other pipe types, including HDPE pipes, UPVC pipes, PPR pipes and PP pipes. The flattening test is considered a basic routine test to ensure pipe quality. IFAN regularly carefully selects a batch of pipes and carefully records the results to ensure that all pipes produced meet the required quality standards. This proactive approach demonstrates our commitment to delivering consistently qualified products.
