Once correctly installed, the brass press fitting does not move, ensuring permanent deformation and thus a long-term seal. The universal fitting also has a LBP (Leak Before Pressing) function, which is designed to help installers detect untightened fittings. If the fitting is not tightened or tightened incorrectly, it will leak even at low pressure.
