Valve connection mode
1、 Flange connection:
This is the most commonly used connection type in valves. According to the shape of the joint surface, it can be divided into the following categories:
1. Smooth type: used for valves with low pressure. Processing is convenient
2. Concave convex type: high working pressure, medium hard washer can be used
3. Grooved type: gaskets with large plastic deformation can be used, which are widely used in corrosive media and have good sealing effect.
4. Trapezoidal groove type: oval metal ring is used as gasket for valves with working pressure ≥ 64kg/cm2 or high-temperature valves.
5. Lens type: the gasket is lens shaped and made of metal. It is used for high pressure valve or high temperature valve with working pressure ≥ 100kg/cm2.
6. O-ring type: this is a relatively new flange connection form. It was developed with the emergence of various rubber O-rings, and its sealing effect is more reliable than that of ordinary flat gaskets.
2、 Wafer connection:
It refers to the connection form in which the valve and two end pipes are directly clamped together by bolts.
3、 Butt welding connection:
The connection form directly welded with the pipeline.
4、 Threaded connection:
This is a simple connection method, commonly used for small valves. There are two cases:
1. Direct sealing: internal and external threads play a direct sealing role. In order to ensure that the joints do not leak, they are often filled with lead oil, twine and PTFE raw material belt; Among them, PTFE raw material belt is widely used; This material has good corrosion resistance, excellent sealing effect, and is easy to use and store. When disassembling, it can be completely removed because it is a non sticky film, which is much superior to lead oil and hemp.
2. Indirect sealing: the force of thread tightening is transmitted to the gasket between two planes, so that the gasket can play a sealing role.
5、 Ferrule connection:
Ferrule connection has been developed in China in recent years. Its connection and sealing principle is that when the nut is tightened, the ferrule is under pressure, so that its blade bit into the outer wall of the pipe, and the outer cone of the ferrule is closely connected with the cone of the connector body under pressure, so that leakage can be reliably prevented.

1. Small size, light weight, simple structure, easy disassembly;
2. Strong connection force, wide application range, high pressure (1000kg/cm2), high temperature (650 ℃) and shock vibration resistance
3. A variety of materials can be selected for corrosion protection;
4. The requirements for machining accuracy are not high; It is convenient for high altitude installation.
